Waters of Salt and Sin, by Alisha Klapheke is book 1 in her series Uncommon World. It is an enjoyable read. After a few pages it really picks up pace and draws you into Kinneret's world. It's a true journey of the mind with so much depth, it just draws you in, holds your attention, and leaves you wanting more. Kinneret does everything in her power to help keep her sister safe and alive, all the while fighting her heart over the one that she shouldn't be pining for as he is "Not of her class". She also finds "gifts" that she never knew she had. Take a journey with Kinneret and see if her heart wins, as well as the trip along the way to keep herself and her sister safe.
