KATELYN ANDERSON : THE TAINTED SOULS TRILOGY
Katelyn Anderson really hit it out of the Fantasy ballpark with this series. Poor Joan has quite a few ups and downs in both books. A true pleasure to read. It holds the reader from the first word to the last. I'm definetly going to be reading every book in this series as it's released.
Number 2, Eternity Fades : Oh boy what a read. Joan sure has a hell of a time in this one. She can, she can't, she shouldn't but sometimes does, as well as getting some rather startling revelations about her past. Once afain this book is full of "curveballs" and holds you prisoner till the last word. So much so it's hard to put down, to attend to real life.
Left to pick up the scattered pieces of the assassin life she once knew, Joan discovers nothing is what it seems. Unknown horrors lie inside the tyrannical agency, secrets that will threaten the lives of anyone brave enough to uncover the truth.
Immortals and humans have never coexisted peacefully, a reality Joan wishes to change. Something sinister is lurking in the shadows, an ancient power that will wreak havoc and shatter any hope of peace. Can Joan and her allies stop darkness from destroying everything?
