SUE HARMELING

Sue Harmeling's The Guardians is up for today. I enjoyed reading this and found I could only stop at times because I was crying to much. Here's how it went lol

Me:  sitting on the bed, with tablet next to me, sobbing my heart out.

Hubby: "What's wrong?" looking rather worried.

Me: "She died" sniffles.

Hubby: "Who died?" looking rather puzzled.

Me: "He killed her" another good cry

Hubby: " Who???"

Me: "xxxx, she died"

Hubby: " Who is xxxx?" getting more puzzled by the minute.

Me: "In the book I'm reading, he just killed her, she was so good, poor xxxx has to deal with another            death now" sniff.

Hubby: throws me a box of tissues and walks out shaking his head.

Seriously that is how it went. Having finished it now though I really enjoyed it. The characters felt like they were friends, and the story line was really good and kept you wanting to read more. I hope it turns into a series.

“So it is written, the Fallen shall come down from heaven and linger over the earth and the depths of hell.

They live lives of grandeur, and choose to bed with many. Their offspring that they bear will call themselves the Guardians.

They will be known as having ultimate power from every land, their presence passed on from generation to generation, until it is like they are a phantom. They will begin to fall under the fallen. One by one they will fall and there will not be a next in kin to replace them...for their graves will be dug deep. There will be no hope, the world will tremble and crumble under the feet of the Fallen...”

Andrina Chalfon has been running from her fate ever since she was born. Being a Guardian is hard work, especially with what the prophecy has revealed about their kind. With the world beginning to fall underneath the Fallen, their job has become increasingly more difficult. Follow Andrina as she battles through the supernatural world, battling her way to save those she loves, and most importantly to save the world from utter destruction.
